ART... The way I see it...

"What is ART? A question that we ask in our everyday’s life, because of the variety of the aesthetic objects; can any new object be called art? Art is a self expression, but any self expression can be called art? Sure not!!

I doubt that art can be defined.. It’s a magical touch that one can add to anything he’s making to have a distinguish object. Thus, art is a way of communication, above time and space; it shows a way of thinking and expresses feelings.

I believe that to be an art object, that object must be interestingly different from others of its kind. When you have many objects from the same kind, (painting or sculpture, song or video clip, speech or written text, or any other object) that are the same, none of them can be called an art object. These objects should be rare to be distinguished.

Well, the desire of making something special is a characteristic of the artistic process. Living in a different way, knowing what you really want and how to have fun and courage, can be called the Art of Living for example; Wearing special clothes, being aware of what really fits you and have a different sense in wearing, can be called the Art of Clothing… and much more... But the point is that not every special thing is called art.

Everyone sees art in its own way, and has a specific opinion about it. But the art should be beautiful, even if it’s not so pretty, but it has to be originally created to be different. You must use imagination and beauty to create art; otherwise it might be cheap.

I’m not to judge what can be called art and what cannot, but this is my opinion, and I see that most of the aesthetic object nowadays are cheap, and are not real art; in the past, art was more sacred and more precious. I’m not generalizing, but art should be different, beautiful, expressive and special.

I repeat, this is how I think, and this is my way to see and define art; I don’t judge your opinions, and don’t oblige you to accept mine. You just have to respect it, and take into consideration… It’s because it’s hard to convince you that what I see art, is art, and vis-versa."
